Start with repeated choices
One decision may be accidental. Several similar choices in similar situations are worth recording. Ask what you protect, and what loss you would need to tolerate before moving closer.
Treat taste as a low-defence clue
Light, texture, sound and relational scenes can show how you sense distance, order and intensity. They must be compared with behavior and language, not translated into a fixed personality by themselves.
Put relationship patterns in a scene
Instead of “I am bad at intimacy,” ask what happens when someone approaches, when they go quiet, and how you explain the silence. Specific questions make self-understanding less abstract.
The goal is more room to choose
Seeing a pattern is not self-blame. It makes an automatic response visible early enough to choose it deliberately, or to test another response and its cost.
